When a patient leaves you a review on Google, it can be useful to link the review to a patient visit in NextPatient.
Linking Google reviews to patient visits will allow you to glean more information from your "Reviews received" report in NextPatient. In your report, you'll be able to sort reviews by provider, appointment date/time, and more.
To link a patient Google review to a visit, you'll first navigate to the Surveys tab in NextPatient:
In this tab, you'll see your recent Google reviews. Next to each review, click "find visit"
Then, you're shown potential matches to the review you selected. The patient's name might not match the name shown on the Google review, so we'll display all of the potential matches for the review. NextPatient will show potential matches based on who clicked the link to review shortly before the review was posted on Google.
You may come across a review that has zero potential matches:
This typically means that the reviewer found your Google listing on their own and posted their review without clicking through from a NextPatient link.
Once you have linked all of your Google reviews to visits, the provider and appointment type information will populate in your reports:
For the reviews that you linked in NextPatient, you'll now see some added information in your report!
