Reserve with Google | FAQ
Find answers and general information about Reserve with Google and how it works with NextPatient. Learn how patients can book appointments from your Google Business Profile.
What is Reserve with Google?
Reserve with Google lets patients book appointments directly from your Google Business Profile. When someone searches for your practice or a provider on Google, they’ll see a “Book” button that connects to your NextPatient scheduling system.

This means new and existing patients can schedule appointments without ever leaving Google — and those appointments flow straight into your NextPatient dashboard, just like any other booking.
Why use it?
Reserve with Google is included in your NextPatient subscription at no extra cost. Adding it to your Google Business Profile can help your practice:
- Convert more searchers into patients. People looking for your practice on Google can book an appointment directly through Search or Maps.
- Keep schedules full. Fill open slots by making it easier for patients to find your practice and book appointments online.
- Save staff time. Fewer phone calls and faster online bookings.
How it works
Once Reserve with Google is enabled for your practice:
- Patients searching your practice or providers on Google will see a “Book” or “Schedule” button.
- That button connects to your live NextPatient scheduling page.
- Patients can choose a provider, appointment type, and time just as they would on your website.
- Appointments are confirmed instantly and appear in your NextPatient and EHR systems.
